Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Controller which means that we determine how the information is collected, used, protected and shared, where appropriate.
How is it collected?
Information is submitted to the Planning section and uploaded to the Planning Portal.
Why is it being collected?
The lawful basis we rely on to process your personal information is article 6(1)(e) where processing is necessary for us to perform a task in the public interest or for our official functions, and the task or function has a clear basis in law.
How will it be used?
To assess planning applications and assist in providing a response to Planning from EH.
Who will it be shared with?
Tascomi, Planning department and public assess on portal
How long will it be retained for?
As per Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule
How do I make a data protection complaint?
If you consider that your data protection rights have been infringed because of the way Council has handled your personal information (or the personal information of someone you are acting on behalf of), you can make a data protection complaint to the Council by:
emailing DPO@fermanaghomagh.com, or filling in the complaint form, or completing the online form
Data Protection complaints will be handled in line with the reporting periods outlined in the Council’s Complaints Handling Procedure.
