Who is collecting it?
The Public Health Agency is the Data Controller which means that it determines the purpose and means of processing the personal data. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Processor which means we are responsible for processing the information on behalf of the PHA.
How is it collected?
At a home visit or by telephone.
Why is it being collected?
The lawful base we rely on for processing your personal data is article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, meaning the processing is necessary for the Council to comply with food control legislation.
How will it be used?
To determine compliance with food control legislation, to undertake inspections and to produce reports
Who will it be shared with?
PHA, WHSCT and Food Standards Agency, if applicable

As per Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule
How do I make a data protection complaint?
If you consider that your data protection rights have been infringed because of the way Council has handled your personal information (or the personal information of someone you are acting on behalf of), you can make a data protection complaint to the Council by:

Data Protection complaints will be handled in line with the reporting periods outlined in the Council’s Complaints Handling Procedure.
