Who is collecting it?
The Department for Communities is the Data Controller which means it determines the purpose and means of processing the personal data. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Processor which means we are responsible for processing the information on behalf of the Department for Communities.
How it is collected?
During Affordable Warmth home visits.
Why is it being collected?
The lawful basis we rely on to process your personal data is article 6(1)(e) where processing is necessary for us to perform a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
How will it be used?
To determine eligibility for the Affordable Warmth grant scheme.
Who will it be shared with?
DfC, NIHE, referral agencies (eg health visitors, social services, NIFRS) Tascomi
How long will it be retained for?
As per the Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule
How do I make a data protection complaint?
If you consider that your data protection rights have been infringed because of the way Council has handled your personal information (or the personal information of someone you are acting on behalf of), you can make a data protection complaint to the Council by:
