Who is collecting it?
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the data controller which means that we determine how your information is collected, used, protected and shared, where applicable.

How is it collected?
When you complete an application form or claim form.

Why is it being collected?
The lawful bases we rely on for processing your personal data are having your consent under article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, which relates to processing which is necessary to perform a contract or to take steps at your request, before entering a contract.

How will it be used?
All of the information is customer focussed and collected to provide the best possible service.
We collect your information to:
• Arrange a Volunteer Matching Meeting and Induction with applicants
• Arrange suitable dates and times to volunteer
• Complete ‘out of pocket expenses payments’ to Volunteer
• Equality Monitoring will be used to assist in our statutory duty under the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and will be reported to the Council’s Policy & Resources Committee.

Who will it be shared with?
No personal information will be shared with any third party unless law or regulation compels such a disclosure.

How long will it be retained for?
Personal information of a Volunteer will be deleted if an individual has not volunteered for 3 years, or you can request to have your details removed at any time.
