Rural Economic & Social Transformation And Resilience Transition Together (RESTART) is an investment of €8.4 million under Investment Area 4.2 – Rural Regeneration and Social Inclusion – of the PEACEPLUS programme. The project will see significant strategic investment in the towns of Newtownbutler, Clones and Belturbet and supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Who is collecting it?

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Controller which means that we determine how the information is collected, used, protected and shared where appropriate.

How is it collected?

The information is collected when you become a participant of RESTART activities or attend a RESTART event where there is publicity and your status requires that consent is sought for use of image and/or name for publicity purposes.

Why is it being collected?

To facilitate the efficient running of RESTART. The legal bases we rely on for processing your personal data is article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, which mean that you have either given consent for us to hold/use your personal data.

How will it be used?

To facilitate the delivery of RESTART and communicate information regarding its activities.

Who will it be shared with?

SEUPB where evidence of photographic consent is required. Organisations that have been procured by the Council to deliver RESTART activities and access to information is essential.
Any personal information provided by you will not be disclosed to any other third party, unless law or regulation compels such a disclosure.

How long will it be retained for?

The databases will be retained until they are superseded, as per the Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule, however the RESTART Manager will review them as required from time to time to ensure accuracy.
