Age Without Limits Day
Age Without Limits Day
Wednesday 10th June 2026
Age Without Limits, Centre for Ageing Better’s campaign to challenge ageism, is running its third annual Age Without Limits Day with the theme “Let’s Question Ageism”.
This Age Without Limits Day, we’re focusing on the power of questions.
Questions spark curiosity. They interrupt habits. They make us pause a little longer and think a little deeper. And when it comes to ageism – one of the most normalised and overlooked forms of discrimination – questions are an incredibly powerful tool for change.
We know that negative assumptions about ageing remain widespread. You’ve probably heard comments like: “Stuck in their ways”, “Bit of a dinosaur”, “Time to slow down”.
These everyday phrases may seem harmless but, repeated across a lifetime, they shape how we treat others, and how we see ourselves. They chip away at confidence, influence decisions, and limit opportunities in work, health, relationships and community life.
Question it
Remember that when we question ageism, we challenge it. And the more we challenge it, the more we start to change it.
Age Without Limits Day is a day for us all to come together and take action to end ageism – as individuals, with friends and family, in our communities and in our workplaces. Together, we can make life better for those of us affected by ageism today and for all of us who may be affected in the future
