Throughout the COVID-19 health pandemic, there have been many examples of our communities responding to the exceptional circumstances to help those in need. Here, the Clarke Family share their story.

The Clarke family from Omagh completed a relay race, the distance from Malin to Mizen virtually in ten days to raise money for the Samaritans. Like many families we were not all together during the lockdown but  decided to do this together while being apart. During this pandemic many people struggled with isolation and it affected their mental health, this is what inspired us to raise money for the Samaritans.

We were overwhelmed by the support from the community during our challenge. All together we managed to raise £2580.00 for the Samaritans charity. This incredible donation will be used to help and possibly save hundreds of lives.
