Church Leadership Programme

In January 2023, a series of four Church Leadership workshops, funded through Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s good relations programme, were held in Enniskillen and Omagh. The workshops aimed to explore the role of faith in a secular society, the contribution faith leaders can make, and provide participants with the knowledge, skills and values to help make faith relevant in their local communities.

A total of 33 different Church Leaders attended the workshops during the series.

The workshops explored:

The cost of living crisis impact and responses from churches

The unique challenges for women in church leadership roles

Current challenges and lived experiences of supporting the health and well being for busy church leaders

Recognising and growing community relationships and networks to understand the value and contribution local churches bring to wider society
