The Society of St Vincent de Paul provides a wide range of services for vulnerable people through their local offices and shops. They can also help people struggling with fuel poverty. Referrals can be made by local support agencies, or individuals/families can self refer and a representative of St Vincent de Paul will carry out a needs assessment. The Affordable Warmth Scheme is directed at low income households and aims to address the effects of fuel poverty and energy inefficiency.
