Waste and Recycling update

Please note the following changes to the opening hours of Household Recycling Centres within the District:

Carrickmore

Closed Thursday 22 and Friday 23 May 2025 for essential maintenance. Alternative site – Gortrush Household Recycling Centre

Please ensure you check the opening times for alternative Recycling Centres

The Council is in the process introducing new working arrangements for refuse collection.

Our staff are working diligently to minimise any disruptions.

If your bin is not collected as normal, please continue to leave it out, and we will endeavour to collect it as soon as possible. We would ask for your understanding as we embed the changes into our service delivery.
