Open Call For PEACEPLUS Social Partners

Open Call to appoint Social Partners to join the Fermanagh and Omagh PEACEPLUS Partnership. 

Following a number of recent vacancies, the Council is seeking to appoint Social Partners to join the PEACEPLUS Partnership and invites applications from suitably interested individuals.

The Council would like to maintain a balanced and representative PEACEPLUS Partnership and in this call, applications are particularly welcomed from representatives of local community groups and ethnic minority groups.  Those with or without previous experience of PEACE programmes are welcome to apply.

The PEACEPLUS Partnership meet on a bi-monthly basis, on the last Wednesday of each month at 11.00am.  Meetings take place in the Townhall, Enniskillen or the Grange, Omagh.  The main role of a Social Partner is as follows:

  • Apply personal expertise in contributing to the implementation of the PEACEPLUS Action Plan for the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.
  • Provide strategic guidance on project development issues and maintain an oversight of project implementation and the achievement of target outputs and results.
  • Contribute to a general forum for discussion and consultation on all matters relating to the PEACEPLUS Action Plan.
  • Raise awareness of the work of the PEACEPLUS Partnership;
