Events, Workshops and Learning Opportunities
Welcome to the Fermanagh and Omagh PEACEPLUS Events and Workshops page. Here you will find information on upcoming courses, workshops, training programmes, community events and activities taking place across the district as part of the Fermanagh and Omagh PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan.
Whether you are interested in developing new skills, connecting with others, exploring local heritage, supporting community wellbeing, celebrating cultural diversity or getting involved in local volunteering opportunities, our PEACEPLUS programmes offer a wide range of FREE opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
The Fermanagh and Omagh PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan is delivering 13 programmes, as detailed in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan, a project supported by PEACEPLUS and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Through these programmes, local people can learn, connect and work together to build stronger, more inclusive and peaceful communities across the district.

FREE Multi-Sports & Creative Activity Camp for Young People (Ages 11–16)
Our Community Youth Programme with Delivery Partners, Todds Leap, AB Coaching and Insight Solutions are delighted to launch an exciting opportunity for young people aged 11–16 to take part in a FREE Multi-Sports & Creative Activity Camp this July 2026.

Participants can look forward to a fun-filled programme of sports, creative activities, teamwork and new experiences in a safe and inclusive environment. Diploma in Community Development Practice (2026–2027)
Want to make a greater impact in your community?
Registrations are now open for the Diploma in Community Development Practice (2026–2027), a part-time accredited programme delivered by the Fermanagh Trust in partnership with the Rural Community Network. Designed for volunteers, committee members, community activists and those working across the community and voluntary sector, this programme provides an opportunity to explore community development in depth while learning from successful initiatives and experiences from across the sector.
Participants will develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to support positive change in their local communities through a combination of practical learning, discussion and shared experiences.
