PEACEPLUS Action Volunteer Programme, Events Management OCN (Level 2) Qualification

Investing in Community Volunteers Programme is offering a fantastic, fully funded opportunity for young people aged 16–25 living in the Erne East DEA.

This programme, run by The Fermanagh Trust, gives participants the chance to gain a recognised qualification, while also building:

– Confidence

– New friendships

– Valuable life and leadership skills

Not only will this benefit young people personally, but it will also have a positive impact on the wider community. Participants will be better equipped and encouraged to use their new skills and knowledge to support local clubs, groups, and organisations.

This is a great opportunity for young people to grow, connect, and make a difference where they live.

PEACEPLUS Community Youth Programme Easter Camp at Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown

The Community Youth Programme is being delivered as part of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s PEACPLUS Local Action Plan.

Delivery Partners – Todds Leap, AB Coaching and Insight Solutions – are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for young people (11-16 Years) to take part in a FREE, action-packed, three-day Multi-Sports and Creative Activity Camp at the Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown, from April 8th to 10th.

Fermanagh and Omagh Women’s Aid PEACEPLUS Consultation Event – Exploring the Interconnections of Sectarianism, Racism and Misogyny

Fermanagh and Omagh Women’s Aid is delivering a ‘Healthy Relationships’ Programme as part of the Fermanagh and Omagh PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan. This programme will explore the interconnections between sectarianism, racism and misogyny, and how these belief systems contribute to gender-based violence, harmful community attitudes and division.

Fermanagh and Omagh Women’s Aid invite participation from individuals/communities across the district to take part in a structured consultation event to help shape/design this programme. The Consultation events are taking place throughout April/May 2026 and dates, times, venues of events are below.

Investing in Community Volunteers (ICV) Programme – Workshop Programme

Free Workshop Programme – ‘Investing in Community Volunteers ‘ Programme is a new initiative to strengthen local communities through volunteering. This programme is delivered by Fermanagh Trust and will provide opportunities for volunteers, committee members and staff working across the community and voluntary sector in Fermanagh and Omagh.
