What information is being collected about you?

  1. Name
  2. Organisation
  3. Job title
  4. Email
  5. Telephone/mobile number (if provided)

Who is collecting it?

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Controller which means that we determine how the information is collected, used, protected and shared where appropriate

How is it collected?

The information is collected by appointment to support the community planning action 2.1 – We will establish Fermanagh and Omagh as an Age Friendly district. This might be through a telephone call, a meeting, written correspondence or an email request

Why is it being collected?

The Community Plan is a partnership arrangement and can only be managed and delivered through a partnership approach across the statutory, private and community/voluntary sectors. It is necessary to be able to keep in touch with those who are playing a role in the delivery of action 2.1 of the Community Plan so that we can manage the process.

How will it be used?

It will be used to communicate with partners as to upcoming meetings or events, to seek progress reports and to share information relevant to community planning.

Who will it be shared with?

It will be shared with the partners who have agreed to deliver the action to support the establishment of Fermanagh and Omagh as an Age Friendly district. It will not be shared with any other third party, unless law or regulation compels such a disclosure.

How long will it be retained for?

The database will be retained until it is superseded (as per the Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule), however, it will be updated on an ongoing basis as the Community Plan develops and evolves.

How do I make a data protection complaint?
If you consider that your data protection rights have been infringed because of the way Council has handled your personal information (or the personal information of someone you are acting on behalf of), you can make a data protection complaint to the Council by:

emailing DPO@fermanaghomagh.com, or filling in the complaint form, or completing the online form

Data Protection complaints will be handled in line with the reporting periods outlined in the Council’s Complaints Handling Procedure.
