Free Food Safety Workshops for Small Food Businesses in Fermanagh and Omagh

The Safefood Knowledge Network, in collaboration with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Environmental Health Department, is offering two free food safety workshops aimed at supporting small food businesses across the district.
Designed to provide essential training and guidance, these half-day workshops will cover:
• Effective pest control strategies
• Methods for controlling food poisoning bacteria
• Best practices for cleaning and sanitisation
• HACCP principles and record-keeping tailored for small food operations
• Food allergen management and labelling requirements

Participants will benefit from practical insights delivered by an experienced food safety trainer and auditor from Safefood, a government organisation that promotes food safety across the island of Ireland, along with the opportunity to connect and share experiences with fellow local food businesses.
