Council statement in relation to the Planning Appeals Commission Conjoined Public Local Inquiries into the Curraghinalt Project (Dalradian)

19th March 2024

The Planning Appeals Commission (PAC) is conducting a Conjoined Public Local Inquiry into the Curraghinalt Project (Dalradian) which comprises a number of applications.

Decisions on the various applications will be taken by the Department for Infrastructure, the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs following the Inquiry.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s corporate position is to object to the Curraghinalt Project (Dalradian).

On this basis, the Council will actively participate in the PAC Public Inquiry and will be represented by Council officers, legal advisors and expert consultants.

As the Public Inquiry process is live and ongoing, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will be making no further comment at this time.

Further information on the Public Inquiry is available on the PAC website https://www.pacni.gov.uk/. Enquiries in relation to the Public Inquiry should be made directly to the PAC.
