Hunters Crescent

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has commenced works at the play parks in Hunters Crescent and Mullaghmore, Omagh.

The works are being completed as part of the Council’s ten year Play Park Strategy, now in its third year of delivery.

The works will include the upgrade of existing equipment and the provision of new equipment and the provision of new equipment to provide inclusive play facilities in all four play parks.

The Council is committed to ensuring that our children and young people have the best start in life and opportunities to be active and enjoy good health, physically, mentally and emotionally.  The provision and enhancement of play facilities helps to achieve this.

Speaking about the works, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Thomas O’Reilly, said:

“I am pleased to see the continued roll out of the Council’s Play Park Strategy across the District to ensure our play parks are sustainably managed and developed.

The improvement works at these two play parks will greatly benefit the residents in the local area and encourage our young people to get outdoors and be active.”

The Council’s Play Park Team will keep residents informed in relation to the progress of the works.  There will be some disruption to Play Park provision during the completion of the works and we thank residents for their patience.
