Changing Places Facilities

Changing Places facilities have been discussed by the Council’s Disability Advisory Group, most recently at the meeting which took place on Thursday 28 November 2019.

The following update was given to all Disability Advisory Group members present:

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to providing Changing Places facilities for all large events going forward. For more information on these events, please contact the Council’s Events Team via email: events@fermanaghomagh.com or via telephone: 0300 303 1777.

The Council is also committed to providing Changing Places facilities in all new-build facilities when they are being developed.

The Council will also explore the potential for including Changing Places facilities within any refurbishment projects going forward. Due to the nature of Changing Places facilities, and the minimum specification, it may not be possible for all refurbished buildings to include a Changing Places facility

Currently, there are accessible changing facilities within:

• Omagh Leisure Complex.
• Fermanagh Lakeland Forum (Enniskillen).
• Castle Park Leisure Centre (Lisnaskea).
