Planning Committee

Please find attached correspondence received by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Chief Executive, from the Director of Local Government and Housing, in the Department for Communities.

This is notification that the Council no longer has the flexibility to hold meetings by remote or hybrid means, from 06 March 2024.

Therefore, any applicant or agent who requests speaking rights for future planning committees, will no longer be able to attend remotely. Attendance must now be in person.

Speaking rights for Planning Committee still need to be requested in the normal way, by contacting Democratic Services
democratic.services@fermanaghomagh.com or telephone 0300 303 1777.

You need to have the application reference number and you must submit the request before 5:00pm on the Monday before the committee meeting. You can only speak to committee if you’ve submitted a written response to an application.
