Under the Protection from Tobacco (Sales from Vending Machines) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 it is illegal to sell tobacco products directly to the public from vending machines in Northern Ireland.  Fermanagh & Omagh District Council’s Environmental Health Officers carry out enforcement visits to premises to ensure compliance with the Regulations.

Single Cigarettes

It is illegal to break open a packet of cigarettes and to sell them individually.  The penalty for this is a fine of up to £1,000.
