EVAWG- Homicide Timeline Training Including Coercive Control

Professionals and practitioners across safeguarding, justice, policing, health, education, and the community and voluntary sectors are invited to attend this specialist training session, delivered by Sarah Ellis, Barrister at Law, working alongside Professor Jane Monckton Smith.

The session will explore how the Homicide Timeline can help professionals understand patterns of behaviour and escalation over time, including coercive control, stalking, threats and other risk indicators. Participants will consider learning from domestic homicide cases, opportunities for earlier intervention, and the importance of effective multi-agency information sharing and response.
