Who is collecting it?
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Controller which means that we determine how the information is collected, used, protected and shared where appropriate.

How is it collected?
The information is collected via completion of online “Covid-19 Business Impact Survey” jot form.

Why is it being collected?
To ascertain the impact of the Covid-19 situation on businesses within the Fermanagh and Omagh District and to assist the Tourism and Economic Development sections in preparing for the recovery phase. We may also distribute information that may be useful to businesses in the District – Government Schemes, training opportunities, webinars, business support mentoring. The legal basis we rely on for processing your personal information is article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR which means that you have given clear consent for us to process your personal information for a specific purpose.

How will it be used?
To provide an analysis of the impact of Covid-19 on businesses within Fermanagh and Omagh District Council from which the Tourism and Economic Sections can alter Business Support Programmes and Initiatives delivered going forward.

Who will it be shared with?
Personal information will not be disclosed to any other third party, unless law or regulation compels such a disclosure, however key statistics may be published for the information purposes on the Council Social Media Platforms.

How long will it be retained for?
The Database will be retained for as long as the business support programmes are assisting local businesses affected by Covid-19. Businesses can request to be removed from the database at any time.
