Culture and Heritage Sponsorship
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has offered £300 sponsorship for free, inclusive events celebrating local culture, heritage, language, and the arts.
Sponsorship was available for events taking place during:

European Heritage Open Days (8–14 Sept 2025)
Focus on architecture, hidden histories, or improved access to heritage. -
Culture Night (19 Sept 2025)
Creative performances, exhibitions, workshops, and cultural showcases. -
Leid Week (24–28 Nov 2024)
Events promoting Ulster-Scots language, music, storytelling, and heritage. -
Seachtain na Gaeilge (1–17 Mar 2026)
Celebrating the Irish language through arts, media, and educational events.
Applicants could apply for multiple strands. Events must:
✅ Take place in the district
✅ Be free and open to all
✅ Align with Council priorities
This sponsorship process has complete, with a total of 5 successful Leid Week applications, theses are currently being delivered across the district. 2025-26 Leid Week successful candidates are:
