Members Words Matter Training

As part of the Council’s commitment to ending violence against women and girls, Members took part in a valuable workshop led by Karen Devlin from @Women’s Aid Federation Northern Ireland. The session explored how the words we use can make a real difference; helping us speak about domestic abuse in ways that are both sensitive and supportive.

Parenting Workshops

Shannon Hollwood behaviour Consultant out delivering parenting workshops to FRCI students funded through the Local Change Fund.  Promoting Ending Violence Against Women and Girls educating parents/ careers on shaping safer, stronger futures for our children breaking cycles and raising emotionally strong humans.

Local Change Fund Networking Event

Representatives from five projects funded by the Local Change Fund administered by FODC with representatives from the Regional Change Fund organisations came together for a very successful networking event on 19 June. All working together to End Violence Against Women and Girls.

Momentum Fund Shared Learning Event

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council was represented at the EVAWG Shared Learning event in Mossley Mill on 4 June. Organised by The Executive Office (TEO) the event brought all 11 Councils together to share their experience of delivering Momentum Funding January – March 2025.
