S Leimane
Leimane’s paintings explores a distant, inner world of lingering loneliness, search of an identity and belonging, while experiencing dissociation. The main part of Leimane’s practice tends to transform continually, leaving fundamental elements of fascination - female form, flesh and atmospheric palette.
Leimane graduated in Fine Art from the Ulster University Belfast in 2017. While still an undergraduate, she completed private commissions, took part in several group exhibitions and had a successful show.
