Gortin Glen Forest Park
Gortin Glen Forest Park, located 6 miles from Omagh, is a family friendly outdoor facility with a destination play park, trim trail, additional parking,  Mountain Bike Trails, walking trails, horse trails, café and toilet facilities.  Visitors can also enjoy the biodiversity of the local area.

The redevelopment of the park and enhancement of the facilities shows the Council’s commitment to promote the health, well-being and recreational outcomes as identified in the Fermanagh and Omagh 2030 Community Plan. The Council has identified the Forest Park as an outdoor resource that has potential for supporting the delivery of long-term health and well-being for residents of the Fermanagh and Omagh District and its visitors.

Opening Times
The park gates are open from 6.30 am to 6.00 pm (01 October to 31 March) and 9.00 pm (01 April to 30 September).

For group bookings regarding the Forest Classroom and the Camp Site please click here to complete an enquiry form.

Please note that access is only for constituted groups who have £5m Public Liability Insurance.

For requests to hold an event click here and complete an event notification form.

Event organisers must hold between £5m-£10 Public Liability Insurance, depending on the event.
