Roadworks notice – visitors to the Grange Council office, Omagh Leisure Complex & surrounding area

If you are visiting the Grange Council offices, Omagh Leisure Complex and surrounding area, please be aware that the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has advised the Council of ongoing lane, and some temporary road, closures over the next 12 months (to August 2026) on the following routes:
– Gortin Road
– Mountjoy Road
– Old Mountfield Road
– Lisanelly Avenue
– Strathroy Road
DfI Roads has advised the Council of the following lane closures to be implemented from w/c 22 September 2025:
- Lane closure B0048 Mountjoy Road: from Drumragh Avenue to Woodside Avenue from Monday 22 September – Friday 24 October 2025
- Please note, you will not be able to turn right onto the Old Mountfield Road from the Mountjoy Road from Thursday 25 September 2025
- Lane closure C0625 Old Mountfield Road: from Arleston Road to Mountjoy Road from Friday 26 September – Friday 30 January 2026
DfI Roads advises drivers to expect delays in the area, especially during school term peak hours and to allow extra travel time or to use the signed alternative routes.
These works are being delivered by the Department for Infrastructure to support the development of the Strule Shared Education campus.
