Omagh’s Future: Challenges and Opportunities

In my capacity as Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (FODC), I warmly invite local businesses, community representatives, statutory partners, and everyone who has an interest in the future of Omagh town centre to attend this important public meeting:

This event will provide an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Omagh town centre at a significant time in its future development.

We are keen to create an open and constructive engagement where those who live, work, invest and spend time in the town can share their views.

The session will also provide an opportunity to link directly with relevant regional departments, statutory agencies and public bodies to ensure joined-up thinking and collaborative action.

Supporting our town centre and local businesses remains a key priority. It is essential that future policies, investment decisions and practical interventions are informed by the lived experience and by the insight of those who use and shape the town every day.

Your voice matters. I would strongly encourage you to attend and contribute to what we hope will be a meaningful and forward-looking discussion about the future of Omagh.
