Learn Hospitality for Free – Skills, Qualifications & Experience in Just 4 Weeks

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Labour Market Partnership, in partnership with South West College, is now accepting applications for a fully funded Hospitality Academy.
This four-week, no-cost programme is designed to provide participants with hands-on hospitality training, industry-recognised qualifications, and direct connections to local employers.
Funded by the Department for Communities, Labour Market Partnerships create targeted employment action plans for council areas, allowing for collaboration at local and regional level to support people towards and into work.
Through this intensive, career-focused academy, participants will:
· Gain two accredited industry qualifications
· Build practical, job-ready experience
· Develop confidence and professional skills
· Access direct links to employers and local job opportunities
Training topics include:
· Food service and preparation
· Drink service and barista skills
· Housekeeping and front-of-house operations
· Patisserie and baking fundamentals
· Banqueting and large-scale event service
The academy experience includes:
· Site visits to hotels, restaurants, and hospitality venues
· Guest talks from leading industry professionals
· A short work placement with a local hospitality employer
· Tailored support with CVs, applications, and interview preparation
