The popular Hats Off to Forthill event will take place on Friday 25 July 2025 at Forthill Park, Enniskillen from 2pm – 5pm. Organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, the event is free to attend and offers a lively afternoon of music, activities, and family fun in one of Enniskillen’s most scenic historic parks.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy live entertainment from DJ Bob, performing from the bandstand throughout the afternoon. Activities on the day will include Jo Jingles, balloon modelling, hula hooping, and more, with plenty to keep young visitors entertained.

There will also be biodiversity activities and Townlands-themed activities delivered by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, along with special appearances from costumed character chicks, adding to the festival atmosphere.

Cole’s Monument will be open for those who wish to climb the 108 steps and see the statue of Galbraith Lowry Cole up close, with stunning views across Enniskillen and Forthill Park from the top of the 98ft tower.

Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Barry McElduff, said,

“Hats Off to Forthill is a great opportunity for people and families of all ages to enjoy an afternoon of free entertainment and activities in one of our most historic green spaces. It is a really excellent chance for the local community and visitors alike to explore, learn and have fun together. I am looking forward to this opportunity myself and would encourage everyone to go along and take part. ”
