Fermanagh and Omagh District Council announce Easter events

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has announced a packed programme of Easter 2026 activities set to take place across the District, offering families and visitors a wide range of events to enjoy throughout the spring break. The programme features everything from theatre performances and creative workshops to outdoor leisure sessions, Easter trails and community fun days.
Speaking ahead of the Easter celebrations, Cllr Barry McElduff, Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council said:
“Easter is a wonderful opportunity for families and communities to come together, and this year’s programme reflects the very best of what our District has to offer.
Whether you enjoy the arts, outdoor adventure, local heritage or simply spending time with family, there is something for everyone.
I warmly encourage residents and visitors to make the most of the events taking place across our towns, parks and venues this Easter.”
One of the seasonal highlights is the Easter Egg Hunt at Enniskillen Castle, running from Monday 30 March to Saturday 11 April, where families can explore the castle grounds while searching for hidden Easter surprises. Normal admission rates and opening hours apply.
At the Ardhowen Theatre, visitors can enjoy Flowers & Friendship Bracelets, billed as ‘The Ultimate Pop Concert’, taking place on Thursday 9 April at 6pm. Tickets cost £27 per person, and booking is required.
The Strule Arts Centre will host a lively run of the much-loved musical Annie from Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 April, with afternoon and evening performances at 2pm and 7.30pm. Ticket prices range from £15 to £52 and can be booked online.
For school age residents, the Omagh Leisure Complex Kids’ Camp will operate from Wednesday 8 to Friday 10 April, offering three days of sports, games and crafts for children aged 5–11 years at £7.50 per day. Spaces can be booked online, by contacting 028 8224 6711, or via the leisure centre reception.
Families can also enjoy a range of Family Fun Days at Castle Park Leisure Centre on Fri 3, Wed 8, Thu 9, Fri 10 and Sun 12 April, with activities including 45 minutes each bouncy castle and softplay for £5 per child. Further information is available through 028 6772 2129.
Forthill Park in Enniskillen will once again host the popular Picnic in the Park on Monday 6 April from 2pm to 4pm, a free event offering relaxed outdoor enjoyment for all ages with no booking required.
Outdoor adventure continues at the Marble Arch Caves, where the Junior Rangers Easter Camp runs from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 April, 10am to 2pm. The three-day programme costs £75 and must be booked in advance.
Rounding off the programme is Bounce at Bawnacre Centre, taking place on Friday 3 April, offering a 45 minute energetic bounce session for children at £3.60 per child, bookable via 028 686 21877.
