Council’s 2025 Summer Programme for Children and Young People opens for bookings soon

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s highly anticipated Summer Programme for Children and Young People will open for bookings on Thursday 15th May at 8:00am.

The Summer Programme will run throughout July and August with over 150 programmes, located at various community and Council facilities across the district. The extensive summer scheme has something for everyone with a variety of camps, activities and workshops including, multi-sport activities, soccer, arts and crafts, drama, inclusive summer camps, athletics, gymnastics, Minecraft workshops, comic book masterclasses and much more. New to the 2025 programme this year is a suite of Countryside and Recreation programmes including water sports, archery and bushcraft, and for children and young people with and without disabilities.

Commenting on the 2025 Summer Programme for Children and Young People, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor John McClaughry said,

“We are committed to improving the lives and wellbeing of our communities and I am pleased we are able to offer another busy two-month schedule of activities for young people to get active, learn new skills, make new friends, and have fun this summer. Our Summer Programme is one of the most anticipated programmes within our annual calendar of events and I would encourage parents to avail of the opportunity to enrol their children.

I would also like to thank all those involve in planning, organising and delivering over 150 activities, which all vary in duration and theme, across the district.”
