Council venues to offer reduced admission on selected activities this summer through Great British Summer Savings scheme
25th June 2026
Visitors to a range of venues operated by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council can enjoy reduced admission prices on selected activities this summer as part of the UK Government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme.
From 25 June to 01 September 2026, admission charges will be lowered on selected activities, reflecting a temporary reduction in VAT from 20% to 5% on eligible services. The initiative is designed to help ease the cost of living for households while encouraging more people to explore and enjoy local attractions.
Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Debbie Coyle, said:
“This scheme provides a welcome opportunity for local families and visitors to experience the wide range of leisure, culture and heritage attractions across the district at a reduced cost. We hope more people will take the opportunity to visit our venues and enjoy what the district has to offer through this scheme.”
A number of Council-run venues and activities are included in the scheme, including:
– Child and family tickets for selected performances at Strule Arts Centre, Omagh and The Ardhowen, Enniskillen
– Daily guided cave tours at Marble Arch Caves, Florencecourt
– Admission to Enniskillen Castle Museums
– Selected children’s activities within Council leisure centres
For further information on eligible activities please visit the venue website or contact the venue directly for full details, including pricing, availability and opening times.
