Council statement

On 29 August 2025, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council served two enforcement notices under section 138 of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011, on Dalradian Gold Limited, and various other landowners in respect of breaches of planning control under section 131(1)(b) of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011, at the land described below.

(1) Lands approx. 165m west of 45 Camcosy Road, Curraghinalt, Gortin (known as the Exploratory site)

(2) Lands 600 metres southwest of no. 45 Camcosy Road, Curraghinalt, Gortin (known as the Explosives site)

These Notices take effect on 30 September 2025, unless an appeal is made against them beforehand.

As these enforcement cases remain ongoing, the Council will refrain from further comment at this time, as that may prejudice any subsequent planning appeal or the outcome of any enforcement proceedings.
