Christmas 2025 and New Year arrangements – Council offices, facilities and bin collections

Administrative centres
The Council’s main administrative centres will be closed from Wednesday 24 December 2025 until Friday 02 January 2026 (inclusive), reopening at 9am on Monday 05 January 2026.

Household bin collections
Bin collections will operate as normal over the festive period with the exception of Thursday 25 and Friday 26 December 2025 when there will be no collection.

Bins due to be collected on Thursday 25 December 2025 will be collected on Saturday 20 December 2025.

Bins due to be collected on Friday 26 December 2025 will be collected on Saturday 27  December 2025.

Bin collections will operate as normal on Thursday 01 January 2026.
