31 August 2026 Bank Holiday arrangements – Bin collections, Council offices & facilities

Household bin collections
Bin collections will operate as normal over the holiday period.

Council Offices
The Council’s main administrative centres will be closed on Monday 31 August 2026 and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 1 September 2026.

These include:

Enniskillen: the Townhall, Connect Centre and County Buildings (including Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages and Civil Partnerships), and Killyvilly Works Depot, Enniskillen
Omagh: Connect Centre and Strule House, The Grange (including Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages and Civil Partnerships), and Gortrush Works Depot, Omagh.

Recycling Centres

Gortrush Civic Amenity Site, Omagh: is open on Monday 31 August, 9am-4.45pm.

Belleek Recycling Centre: is open on Monday 31 August, 10am-5.45pm.

Carrickmore, Dromore and Fintona Recycling Centres: are open on Monday 31 August, 11am-3.45pm.

Drummee Recycling Centre, Enniskillen: is open on Monday 31 August, 9am-4.45pm.

Garrison Recycling Centre: is closed on Monday 31 August.

Irvinestown, Lisnaskea, Kinawley and Tempo Recycling Centres: are open on Monday 31 August, 10am-5.45pm.

Kesh, Newtownbutler and Rosslea Recycling Centres: are open on Monday 31 August, 10am-5.45pm.

Other Council venues & facilities

Leisure Centres: Broadmeadow Fitness, Bawnacre Centre, Castle Park Leisure Centre and Omagh Leisure Complex are closed on Monday 31 August.

The Ardhowen – is closed on Monday 31 August.

Strule Arts Centre & Omagh Visitor Information Centre: is closed on Monday 31 August.
