Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is seeking the views of residents to inform the development of the destination play park at Grange Park, Omagh and has devised an online survey so that interested parties can voice their opinion.

The Council approved a new Play Park Strategy 2021-2030 in February 2021 which would guide the future provision, upgrade, development and sustainable management of play parks across the district.  As part of year one works for the strategy, the development of a Destination Play Area in the Grange Park, Omagh has been identified as a priority.

The Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Errol Thompson said;

“The play strategy aims to develop and deliver a sustainable action plan for inclusive and accessible play spaces and provision across the district that meets the needs of children and young people.

I would encourage residents to take part in the survey and to register their views on the future shape of this destination play area. The survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete, however your participation is key to the development of the space.”

To access the survey please visit https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Grange_Park. The Grange Park Destination Play Park survey closes on Friday 13 August 2021 at 5.00pm.
