Council encourages residents to apply for £100 Spend Local vouchers

With registration now open for the Department for the Economy’s Spend Local £100 voucher card scheme, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Cllr Errol Thompson, is encouraging residents to apply to the scheme and to ‘spend local to support local’.

“The Council warmly welcomes this new spend local scheme which will bring valuable support and footfall to businesses across Fermanagh and Omagh,” said Councillor Thompson.

“Businesses across the district have faced significant challenges over the past 18 months and this scheme provides residents with the opportunity to support businesses within the district and provide a welcome boost to our local economy,” he continued.

“Fermanagh and Omagh has an exceptional retail, hospitality, services and visitor offering and I urge residents aged 18 and over to apply for their £100 voucher card before the closing date of 25 October 2021 to spend local, support local,” Councillor Thompson added.
