Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is inviting views on the use of Cottage Lawn, Belcoo.  The public engagement exercise opens on Monday 28 November 2022 for a period of 12 weeks to Friday 17 February 2023.

The purpose of the survey is to help to inform Council’s decision-making and investment processes, recognising the economic, social and environmental opportunities and benefits afforded by Cottage Lawn. Many people in Belcoo and visitors from across the District and further afield, use the area for a variety of purposes and the Council wants to hear from as many people as possible over the next 12 weeks.

Cottage Lawn, in the centre of Belcoo village, is an open green space with exceptionally mature trees, paths and stunning views of the Hanging Rock and Cuilcagh Mountain.  The area is bounded on one side by Lough MacNean Lower and is a rich biodiversity habitat that provides an opportunity to engage with and appreciate our natural landscape. The area is also used regularly for walking, running and other leisure activities and its popularity as a place to go is continuing to increase.

The online survey is available until 17 February 2023 and we look forward to hearing your views in the months ahead.
