Local Government Elections 2023

The Local Government Elections are scheduled to take place on Thursday 18 May 2023. Polling Day will be on Thursday 18 May 2023 with the Election Count being held on Friday 19 May and Saturday 20 May 2023.

Nomination Papers

Nomination Papers are available to download from the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland website.

Nomination papers can also be obtained from the Council Offices, Mountjoy Road, Omagh, BT79 7BL or the Council Offices, Townhall, 2 Townhall Street, Enniskillen, BT74 7BA. Requests for nomination papers can be submitted by email at elections@fermanaghomagh.com.

Nomination papers may be delivered to Alison McCullagh, Deputy Returning Officer at the Council Offices at (i) The Grange, Mountjoy Road, Omagh, Co Tyrone, BT79 7BL or (ii) Townhall, 2 Townhall Street, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, BT74 7BA between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Wednesday 12 April, Thursday 13 April, Friday 14 April, Monday 17 April, Tuesday 18 April, Wednesday 19 April, Thursday 20 April and Friday 21 April 2023 and from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Monday 24 April 2023.

Candidates are encouraged to reserve an appointment to nominate in advance and appointments can be reserved by email at elections@fermanaghomagh.com or by contacting Peter Donaghey or Jill Patton by telephone on 0300 303 1777 Ext 20204 or 21944.
