Public Consultation on the Events and Festivals Strategy 2020-2025
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is currently consulting publicly on the draft Events and Festivals Strategy 2020-2025.
The draft Strategy defines the Council’s role and ways it will support a program of events and festivals. It articulates the resource commitments that Council will make and how FODC will work with the local community to ensure Events and Festivals are inclusive, demonstrate best practice, are sustainable and flourish.
The aim is for the Strategy to be closely aligned to and integrate effectively with the key existing strategies across the Council area and being developed more widely. The strategy is supported with more detailed findings and research outcomes.
The draft Strategy has been developed to meet the strategic outcomes of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Corporate Plan 2020 – 2024 and the Fermanagh Omagh Community Plan 2030.
The draft Events and Festivals Strategy 2020-2025 has been designed to provide a framework to guide the Council’s actions until March 2025 and it details five strategic goals and objectives.
