Public Consultation: Council Disability and Equality Action Plans

The Council is currently consulting on the Draft FODC Disability Action Plan and Equality Action Plan.  The public consultation is open until Friday 28 February 2025 at 5pm.

Both plans aim to improve and promote ‘accessibility’, ‘disability’, ‘diversity’, ‘equality’, and ‘inclusion’ in employment practice, service delivery and policy development. The draft plans will also help to ensure that the Council is compliant with legislation (Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and Section 49A of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995) and set out how the Council will improve inequality and accessible services over the next three years.
