Public Consultation on the Draft Disability Action Plan for 2022-2024

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to the fulfilment of its statutory Disability Duties in all parts of the organisation, and this draft Disability Action Plan sets out how it proposes to fulfil these duties in relation to its services and functions.
The draft Disability Action Plan for 2022-2024 will provide a framework until 31 December 2024 and includes four strategic themes, specifically:
A. Consultation, development and implementation of the Disability Action Plan.
B. Increasing the awareness and understanding of the needs of people with disabilities.
C. Provision of responsive and accessible services to increase opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in public life.
D. Development of the Disability Advisory Group and the Access Advisory Groups
The Council is actively seeking your views on the content and actions contained within the draft Disability Action Plan for 2022-2024.
