The Council provides Bursaries to individuals to undertake or participate in Cultural & Sporting Programmes. To be eligible the individual must be resident in the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council area.

Sports Bursary

Applications will be received on an on-going basis but will not be assessed until the next available grant programme. Sports bursary applications MUST be submitted PRIOR to the Tournament, Competition or Event taking place, applications can’t be made retrospectively. This could be post the Tournament, Competition or Event in which the applicant is seeking the bursary for.

Code of Practice, Guidance Notes & Terms & Conditions  are available to download.  All documents are subject to change.

Sports Bursary – Individuals awaiting the outcome of an application for a project/event must adhere to the Bursary – Terms & Conditions.

Irish Language

Applications for Culture, Irish Language Bursaries closed on Monday 13 March 2022 @ 5pm.

Culture, Irish Language Gaeltacht & Academic Bursary streams only open in call 1 each year.
