1.) What is the Pool opening times?
Monday: 7am to 8.30pm (last session 7.40pm)
Tuesday: 8.30am to 9.40pm (last session 8.50pm)

2.) What is the DEC opening times?

3.) Are you open on Bank Holidays?
Yes! We open from 1pm to 5.30pm on Bank Holidays, however are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
4.) What is included in my membership package?
All Inclusive: Unlimited use of the swimming pool, health suite (Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room and Relaxation Area), DEC gym, Running Track, 7 FREE member fitness classes each week and use of Club Changing Rooms plus a FREE Induction to the Gym

5.) What Fitness classes are on today and how much do they cost?
7 Free fitness classes with any membership package per week, but you can pay at the door and the admission fee is £4.65 per class. A full list of our classes can be found on our Autumn/Winter Kit to Get Fit.
6.) Can I change my membership package?
Yes – you can upgrade your membership at any stage. To arrange this, please contact a member of our Reception team or speak to Lynette, our Sales and Membership Coordinator. Lynette can be reached at extension 20711. Or email Lynette at: email@example.com
7.) Can I freeze my membership whilst still in contract?
Yes – you are permitted one freeze period of up to 3 months in any 12 month contract. Speak to Lynette our Sales and Membership Coordinator. Lynette can be reached at extension 20711 or by email : firstname.lastname@example.org
8.) What is the required notice period for cancellation of membership?
After the expiry of the agreed Minimum Contract Term, the member can, at any time, cancel their membership by providing Omagh Leisure Complex with thirty days written notice addressed to the Facilities. The membership will be cancelled with effect from the last day of the month following the completion of the thirty day notice period. All Membership Fees will be payable up to the date of cancellation.
9.) What time do you hold Induction courses for the DEC?
Inductions for those under 18, senior citizens, registered disabled persons and customers signing up to membership are FREE and the current schedule is:
Monday: 1pm & 5.30pm
Thursday: 10am & 7pm
Friday: 7am & 7pm
10.) What time is the Galley Cafe open?
The Galley Café is open from 8am to 8pm Monday – Friday and from 9am to 5pm Saturday & Sunday. We can also open outside these hours to cater for special events.
11.) I don’t want to become a member, can I come along and use the gym on a casual basis?
Yes, provided you have completed an Induction. The cost of casual, adult Gym usage is £5.15 per session and our Teen/Senior/Registered Disabled rate is just £2.60 up to 6.30pm each day. Teens, seniors and those registered with a disability can also use the gym after 6.30pm and the rate is £5.15. Membership represents the best value, since monthly membership fees start at just £18.55 per month for UNLIMITED use – so by paying the “casual” rate each time, after four visits you would have surpassed the monthly membership fee! In addition, Membership includes a FREE INDUCTION and 7 FREE fitness class each week! We like our customers to avail of the best possible value!
12.) Where can I find out information about birthday parties?
We have a wide variety of options to choose from. Birthday Parties – application forms are also available to download here. Once you make your decision, contact Reception at 82246711 to make your reservation.
13.) Is there always a lane available for swimming?
Yes, during public sessions, we always have at least one lane available for swimming lengths.
14.) What is the minimum age before my child can join the gym?
The minimum age before your child can gain admittance to the gym is 14 although some restrictions may apply before they reach the age of 16 (no admission to free weights section).
15.) What is the child adult ratio for the swimming pool?
Children under the age of 8 must be directly supervised in the swimming pools by his/her parent or responsible person aged over 16 years. No more than 2 children aged 4 to 7 may be supervised by one parent or responsible person over 16 years. Children under age 4 must be directly supervised by a parent or responsible person over 16 years on a one-to-one basis.
16.) Do I have to be a member to use the leisure facilities?
No – we offer all facilities on a “pay per play” basis, but membership often represents the best possible value for our customers. Prices for membership start at less than the equivalent of less than 60p per day!
17.) Are there lockers available?
Yes – we provide secure lockers in all changing areas. Lockers take a £1 coin which is refundable. Hairdryers are also available at a cost of 20p per use.
18.) Is the centre suitable for disabled users?
Yes – we have passenger lifts to all floors and automatic door opening. In addition we have several adapted changing rooms for those with a disability and a pool hoist if required. Many of the machines in the gym are also adaptable for disabled users. We operate a “buddy system” whereby customers who require assistance may bring along a partner or friend who will be admitted free of charge. Simply inform our Reception staff who will be happy to admit your assistant for free! Finally, we have also installed pool pods; images of which can be viewed in the gallery below.
19.) What temperature is the toddler’s pool today?
As recommended by Chartered Institute for Management of Sport and Physical Activity, the toddler pool is kept at a comfortable 30oC +/- 2oC. Sometimes during backwashing, introduction of fresh water may slightly reduce the temperature so that it falls on the lower side of the scale.
20.) At what age can I bring my child swimming?
Usually after your child has had all infant immunisations – generally around 3 to 4 months old. It is a good idea to take advice from your community mid-wife or health visitor.
21.) What is Aqua-Fit?
Aqua-fit is another name for water aerobics classes. The water provides resistance to strengthen your muscles and raise your heart rate while minimizing impact on your joints. Its lots of fun and open to anyone aged 14 or over. Aqua-fit is part of our FREE member’s class programme!
22.) Do I have to book for classes?
No – we do not take bookings for classes, although it is advisable to arrive in plenty of time before a class starts to ensure you get a place – our classes are very popular!
23.) Do you have swim lessons for adults?

24.) How can I enrol my child in swim lessons?
Enrolment is taken approximately every 8 weeks and we make public announcements of Facebook and by posting information throughout the complex in advance. We are currently working to establish an on-line enrolment system for lessons of all levels including Aqua Baby, Tiny Tots, Level 1, Adult and Lifesaving– details will be published soon!
25.) What other sports can I play in the leisure centre?
You can play badminton or Table tennis for just £8.25/adult court or just £4.10/child court. You can also play Indoor Soccer, basketball, netball, hockey, outdoor soccer on our floodlit 4G pitches, go running on our track or simply relax and chill in our beautiful Health Suite.

26.) Do you have student membership?
Yes! If you are aged over 14 and are in full-time education (proof needed), we have fantastic membership offers with FREE gym inductions! Click on the link for our membership prices and terms and conditions. Don’t forget to click on the link for any “Student Specials” generally running during school holidays!
27.) Do you offer Personal Training or Team Training?
Yes – it’s all about you! Our fully qualified and experienced coaches offer personal training and team training packages tailored to suit individual and team needs and goals. Personal training sessions start at just £7.75 per session.
28.) Is there a reduced rate for seniors?
Yes – seniors can swim for FREE each Friday between 8.30am and 9.30am and we offer reduced rate on all our membership packages with FREE inductions! Membership packages start at just £18 per month! In addition, we offer “Senior Wellness” days throughout the year. These special events allow our seniors to enjoy being pampered in our “Spa”, have a massage, take a dip in the refreshing pool, attend a Yoga or Aqua-fit session, revitalise in our wonderful health suite and have a chat with friends over a cup of coffee – all at a special, reduced rate! 29.) I am a business and am interested in corporate membership, what’s on offer?
Lots! We can offer your employees up to 20% discount on all membership packages at Omagh Leisure Complex – and we do all the work! Click Membership Brochure for full details. 30.) How do I book the 4g pitch?
Easy! Simply dial our receptionist on 02882246711 (option 0) and ask for your chosen slot! Bookings may be taken up to a week in advance, however, we do offer our customers the option of “block booking” pitches – reserve your favourite day and time without having to call each week! Block bookings run from 1st September each year and end any date of your choice, right up to 31st August the following year – download a Block Bookings form.
31.) Do you have meeting rooms I can book for my business/organisation?
Yes! With corporate membership, we also offer 6 free hours room use per corporation each year for meetings, teambuilding etc! (Ask our Team Leader Andrew about Corporate Membership – Extn. 20711 or email firstname.lastname@example.org)
We have several rooms for hire from our 1200 capacity Major Hall to our Conference Rooms with the latest technology, free parking, on-site, full catering etc. Room hire starts at just £10!
