Applications for Arts & Irish Language Bursaries are currently closed.

The Council provides Bursaries to individuals to undertake or participate in Artistic, Cultural or Sporting Programmes.  The individual must be resident in the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council area.

The following is a list of Bursaries that are available from Fermanagh & Omagh District Council

  • Arts, Culture & Heritage
  • Irish Language
  • Sport

Sports Bursary applications will be received on an on-going basis and will be held on file until the next assessment date.  Call 1 (Jan-Mar) and Call 2 (Sept–Nov) of each year.

Sports bursary applications MUST be submitted PRIOR to the Tournament, Competition or Event taking place, applications cannot be made retrospectively.

The Bursary Guidelines displayed below were for 2019/20 first call of funding January/February 2019. These guidelines are subject to change for the 2019/20 second funding call.

The Terms & Conditions associated with the Grant Aid and Bursaries Programmes on offer are also provided below. All projects/events must follow the Terms & Conditions attached.
Please note if you have submitted an application and are awaiting an outcome you must adhere to the Grant Aid Terms & Conditions. Failure to do so will affect any funding that you are awarded.
