Grants & Funding

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council deliver a range of grant programmes each year which are available to voluntary clubs, societies, community and sporting organisations.  Groups must be based in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.

2021/2022 – Grant Aid, 1st Call 

(Funding covers 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022)

Applications for the following grant aid streams will open on Tuesday 16 February 2021 and will close on Tuesday 23 March 2021 at 5pm.

  • Community Services – Revenue
  • Good Relations
  • Irish in the Community
  • RECOVER Fund Programme
  • Remembering & Commemoration – Decade of Centenaries
  • Seeding Grant
  • Ulster Scots in the Community

COVID-19 Community Support Fund (Tranche 3)

(Funding to be spent by 31 March 2021)

The Covid-19 Community Support Fund is available to groups wishing to provide community and social support to vulnerable and isolated persons in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area at this time. Funding must focus on one of the following areas:-

Financial need* – Projects must clearly demonstrate how they will identify those at risk due to financial stress and provide details on how they plan to address these needs.*This element will only be open to organisations with experience of assessing financial need.

Food need- Projects must demonstrate how they intend to target those most in need of food and how they plan to meet this need.

Connectivity need – Project must identify target groups such as those living alone, those living in rural / border areas and those with no access to the internet/laptops and can provide cost effective ways of meeting these needs.

Community Services – Project Development 

Applications for Community Services – Project Development are open on a rolling basis and can be accepted throughout the year. Applicants must first contact a Community Support Officer of the Council to discuss their project/proposal prior to an application being made available.  For further information click here
