Volunteering
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council welcomes the involvement of volunteers in assisting to deliver services to residents and visitors to the district.
Volunteers reflect the interests, needs and resources of the communities we serve. Volunteers bring a unique perspective; they are part of our team, with a distinctive but complementary role alongside paid staff. Involving volunteers enables us to enhance the benefits we can offer to residents.
At present, the Council has over 350 volunteers involved in Meet and Great, Litter Champion, Exhibition and Event Assistant roles. Throughout the year, the Council will provide opportunities for people to register as volunteers.
Registrations for the following volunteering opportunities will open on 22 March 2024:
- Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark Event Volunteer
- Museums Collections Volunteer
- Meet & Greet Volunteer – Enniskillen Castle
