Culture Night 2021 – THIS FRIDAY!
Fermanagh & Omagh 2021
Friday 17 September is Culture Night 2021!
Culture Night is a UK and Ireland-wide initiative where local arts and cultural organisations, venues and public spaces usually open their doors to the public to host free entertainment, as part of a celebration of arts, heritage and culture.
Whilst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic may have affected many of our plans in 2021, it won’t stop the Fermanagh & Omagh Culture Night celebrations!
Despite the challenging climate for the arts & cultural sector, last year an exciting and diverse programme of live, online, in-person and pre-recorded events, activities and workshops took place across the district, showcasing the wealth of talent from Fermanagh and Omagh. We expect 2021 to be no different!
We are now inviting arts, youth, cultural, sport, community and other organisations from across the district to submit sponsorship applications for up to a maximum of £250 to deliver an event as part of our 2021 programme. Events / activities can be live-streamed, in-person, pre-recorded and /or online. We are keen to see the widest possible range of cultural activities to include film, literature & language, music, heritage, drama, sport, visual arts and multi-arts activities, with representation across the whole district and covering a range of traditions. Events must be free to access and take place on Friday 17 September 2021.
Our programme is now complete and can be viewed or downloaded below.
