Proms in the Park – useful information for ticket holders

BBC Proms in Park

Published: 8th September 2017

BBC Proms in the Park takes place in the grounds of the National Trust property, Castle Coole, Enniskillen, this Saturday (September 9).

Please note important information for ticket holders:

·       There will be no pedestrian access to Castle Coole. All public ticket holders will be required to use the free shuttle bus service from Enniskillen airport. Provision has been made for transport from, and back to, the airport for those applicants who told us that they required wheelchair access.

·       The main stage/auditorium area is approximately 500 metres from the shuttle-bus drop-off point at Castle Coole. The pathway has a gentle, uphill gradient. Audience members leaving the venue at the end of the evening will follow the same route.

·       Please only bring as many belongings as you can carry easily – taking account of the bus journeys and short walking distances involved.

·       Please remember to bring own folding chair.

·       Recent weather means that ground conditions away from the main pathways at Castle Coole are soft. Appropriate footwear will be required. Please also remember to dress for the weather that is forecast for Saturday afternoon and evening in Enniskillen.

·       Shuttle buses leaving Castle Coole after the Proms event will make one stop to facilitate any passengers wishing to disembark outside the Railway Hotel on Forthill Street. All buses will then continue to Enniskillen Airport.

·       Concert-goers who are leaving their vehicles overnight at Enniskillen Airport should collect them by 10.00am, at the very latest.
